We are Hazel Communications and we are building AI that thinks like a person and works like a team member.
How can we approach an ideal experience for getting work done? Imagine having a colleague who understands exactly what you need, works through complex problems from start to finish, and gets better with every task. Someone who can write code, analyze data, conduct research, and use any tool on a computer just like you do. Unfortunately, people with deep expertise, infinite patience, and the ability to work on hundreds of tasks simultaneously are very scarce and cannot personally help all 8 billion of us on demand.
However, with recent progress in AI agents, this working experience feels real. Our team has built Midsphere AI, powered by a General AI agent architecture that can autonomously handle any computer-based task. This isn't another chatbot or automation tool. It's an AI employee that uses your computer, runs your software, and solves problems the way you would—but it never gets tired, never forgets, and learns from every interaction.
Our agent achieved 70% on the GAIA test benchmark and 86% on GAIA validation, ranking 22nd globally on TerminalBench. It solved 5.5 out of 6 problems on the International Mathematical Olympiad exam. Most importantly, it has full computer use capabilities, meaning it can control interfaces, navigate applications, and complete workflows end-to-end without human intervention.
Midsphere AI runs in isolated sandboxes with 16+ specialized agents working together, integrating with over 700+ applications. It plans, executes, evaluates, and improves through reinforcement learning. When you give it a task, it figures out the steps, uses the right tools, and delivers results—whether that's deep research, content creation, data analysis, or building software.
We believe this is how work should feel in the future. Not replacing humans, but amplifying what we can do. Taking on the tedious, the repetitive, and the computational so people can focus on the creative, the strategic, and the deeply human parts of building something meaningful.
If we are successful, it will be easy for anyone to build anything, expanding productivity in both reach (helping millions of people accomplish more) and extent (enabling any one person to achieve what once required entire teams).
Today, we are heads down building Midsphere AI and making it work for real businesses with real problems. But we look forward to a future where AI is a key technology for increasing human potential. What would you like to build?
